The 2007 National Cooperative Soil Survey Conference is planned for June 3-8, at the University of Wisconsin Pyle Center in Madison. The Natural Resources Conservation Service, Soil Survey Staff, Madison Wisconsin; U.S. Forest Service; Agricultural Experiment Station; and the University of Wisconsin in Madison are co-hosts of this conference. The NCSS Conference has reserved a block of 120 rooms at:

Rates are $84 + tax. Please ask for the “NRCS” block of rooms. The hotel is located on Capitol Square and is about 5 blocks from the Pyle Center (down State Street). Complimentary parking and an airport shuttle are provided by the hotel. This will get everyone to the same hotel, at the government rate, and within walking distance of the Pyle Center. The Conference will have tour buses pick-up and drop-off at the hotel. Rooms will be held until May 3, and then all unreserved rooms will be released.
